Refund policy

Custom Engraving Return & Refund Policy

Because every engraving is personalized and permanently applied to the customer’s part, all custom engraving orders are final once work has begun.

No Returns or Refunds for Personalized Work

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for custom engraving services due to:

  • Change of mind after ordering

  • Incorrect text, dates, spelling, or design details submitted by the customer

  • Customer-provided files, images, handwriting, logos, or artwork that do not engrave as expected

  • A customer’s preference regarding engraving size, placement, depth, or appearance when the work was completed as requested

  • Parts that do not fit, cannot be removed, or are unsuitable for engraving

Customers are responsible for reviewing all engraving details carefully before placing an order. Please ensure names, dates, wording, spelling, coordinates, and uploaded files are correct.

If We Damage Your Part

We take great care when handling every watch, caseback, and customer-provided item. However, engraving involves permanent machining and there is always some risk when working with customer-supplied parts.

If TimeMakerCNC directly damages or ruins your removable caseback or part due to an error in our engraving process, we will work with you to make it right. Depending on the situation, this may include repair, replacement with a comparable part, or reimbursement for the reasonable value of the affected part.

Any claim for damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery and must include clear photos of the item and packaging.

Customer-Supplied Parts

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the item submitted is suitable for engraving and, when applicable, that the caseback can be safely removed from the watch.

TimeMakerCNC is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing scratches, dents, corrosion, damage, or defects

  • Damage caused by prior repairs, poor-quality materials, thin plating, coatings, or unknown internal conditions

  • Damage resulting from shipping to or from our workshop, unless caused by inadequate packaging on our end

  • Damage to watch movements, crystals, seals, water resistance, or other components when a complete watch is sent rather than a removable caseback

  • Loss of water resistance after a caseback has been removed, opened, or reinstalled

Whenever possible, we strongly recommend sending only the removable caseback rather than the full watch.

Questions Before Ordering

If you are unsure whether your item can be engraved, whether your design will work, or what information to provide, please contact us before placing your order. We are happy to help clarify the process before work begins.
